Empower students and they will soar!
HEAD CHEERLEADERPat TramleyI bring a blend of head and heart to my workshops to connect, engage, challenge, support, and ultimately empower students so they can thrive.
Drawing on more than 30 years in the medical publishing industry (incl. owner & president, JLS Media - print and digital sales for the Canadian edition of the New England Journal of Medicine) and having organized countless medical conferences, I have deep interest and passion for empowering people. Over the past 16 years, my side passion has been volunteering at a local elementary school, reading to students, animating and facilitating book clubs, including a grade 6 Book Club, a Boys' Book Club (ages 12-17) and a grade 9 Book Club. I have seen how coaching self-love and acceptance can benefit youth. Working as an academic and social liaison in the international student program, helping Thai high school students feel confident in their new setting and integrating them seamlessly through fun and engaging activities, reinforced how I can positively impact developing young minds. For the past three years, I have been offering workshops in elementary (grades 4-6) and high school (all grades). For the past two years, I have been the cultural animator at Beaconsfield High School and coaching students individually on their self-esteem and happiness at school. |
